E-mail brings out the worse in unpleasant and disrespectful people

I have been in e-mail user since the 1990s. So, I read this article with interest.

I’m appalled by the fact that the technology, rather than the nature of human beings is being blamed. It’s not e-mail which is the problem. It’s people.

Human beings exhibit power over others through exploitation and disrespect. Employers who do not respect the fact that individuals need time away from work are simply demonstrating a slave owning mentality. People who expect instant response to their mails are insisting that their needs come first…
